Gupta General Store

Gupta General Store is located at Plot No-124/42 in C Block of Govind Nagar. It’s a busy area and we have been here for quite some time now. The store is packed with all sorts of things, from cleaning supplies to snacks and dairy. I usually arrive early to take delivery of the milk and bread. The space inside is quite tight, so I’m always bumping into boxes. It’s a bit of a mess sometimes, especially on delivery days, but I know where everything is. We don't have a lot of help, so I handle the customers and the stock myself. The locals in Govind Nagar are good people, and they stop by for their daily needs. We talk about the local news or the rising prices of vegetables. It’s a very grounded way to spend the day. I don’t use any polished language or have a big marketing plan. I just try to make sure I don’t run out of the things people ask for most. The light in the back of the store is a bit dim, so I have to be careful when looking for items. It’s a practical, everyday job. Sometimes the phone rings constantly with people asking if we have a certain item in stock. We are just a neighborhood shop trying to stay helpful. It’s not a fancy life, but it’s a steady one that I’ve grown to appreciate.
