If you find yourself in the W-1 Block area, you’ll probably pass by our place at No. 127/649. Growmore Exim Pvt. Ltd. isn’t hard to find if you know the street. It’s a local neighborhood, so there’s always something going on outside, like kids playing or neighbors talking. Our office is tucked in there, and we like it that way. It feels more like being part of the community than being in a sterile business park. Inside, it’s mostly shelves, desks, and a few piles of samples we keep around. We spend a lot of time on the computer checking prices and talking to suppliers. It’s a small team, so if the phone rings, whoever is closest picks it up. We don’t have a receptionist or anything like that. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re usually too busy with the day-to-day stuff to worry about it. Most of our work involves managing the export and import side of things, making sure the numbers match up and the goods are moving. Sometimes things go wrong with the shipping schedules, and those are the days we stay late. We drink a lot of chai during those hours. It’s a straightforward business. We just try to get the work finished so we can go home to our families in the evening. It’s been our routine for years now at this W-1 Block spot.
