Golden Men

Golden Men is situated at Shop No 38 on Naala Road. We are right by Shastri Chauk in Ratanlal Nagar, Kanpur. It’s a straightforward shop for men who need to look a bit tidier. I spend most of my time here behind the chair. Kanpur is a busy city, and this road is always moving. The shop isn't massive, but we make it work. We have a few regulars who have been coming here since we first opened. You’ll find the usual things inside—clippers, spray bottles, and some old magazines to read while you wait. I don't go for anything too flashy. The sign outside is a bit faded from the sun, but people know where we are. Usually, the morning time is quiet, but by evening, the place fills up. I like the routine of it. We do haircuts, beard trims, and sometimes a head massage if someone asks for it. The chairs are old but sturdy. I’ve lived in this area for a long time, so I know most of the faces that walk through the door. It’s a honest way to earn a living. Sometimes the power goes out, and we have to use the hand fans, but that’s just how it is here. We just keep going. If you're near Shastri Chauk, you’ll see us there on the corner. Just a normal place for a haircut.
