Globus Hospital

Being at No. 117/ N/33 A- One Market in Kakadeo, we are right in the thick of things. People call the area Kakadev sometimes too. Globus Hospital has been part of this neighborhood for a long time. The street outside is narrow and often blocked by parked scooters. We have to navigate through the crowds every morning just to get into the building. Once inside, it feels like a different world, though not a fancy one. It’s just a place of work. The floors are scrubbed every morning, but they never stay clean for long with so many people walking in and out. We have some wooden benches in the waiting area that have been there since we opened. They are sturdy but not exactly soft. We talk to the shopkeepers next door when we go out to get tea in the afternoon. It’s a tight-knit community here in the market. The rooms upstairs are small, and the stairs are a bit steep for some. We try to keep everything in order, but when it gets busy, papers end up everywhere. It’s the kind of place where you know the squeak of every door. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that; we just open up in the morning and do the work that needs doing until the sun goes down and the market starts to quiet. It's just us here.
