Shiv Battery House

Shiv Battery House has been operating out of New Shivli Road for a good while now. We are located near the Mahila Hotel in Kalyanpur, though we also have that head office over in Alam Bagh. Dealing with batteries is a heavy, dirty job most of the time. We spend a lot of our day testing old units and lugging around new ones that weigh a ton. The shop isn't much to look at, just a counter and a lot of shelves filled with black boxes. It gets pretty cramped in here when we have a few customers waiting at once. We don't use any fancy sales talk. If a battery is dead, it’s dead, and we tell you that. People come to us when their cars won't start or their backup power at home fails. It’s a practical business. We get grease on our clothes and sometimes the acid eats a little hole in our shirts if we aren't careful. That’s just how it goes when you work with these things. The road outside can get quite congested, which makes unloading the delivery trucks a bit of a headache. We just manage as best as we can. It’s a local operation, nothing corporate about it. We’ve been in this spot long enough that most of the local mechanics know where to find us. We just keep the lights on and the tools ready. Sometimes we stay open a bit late if someone is in a real bind and needs their truck back on the road.
