Farida Export Enterprises

Being at 80/86 Latouche Road means dealing with a lot of noise. It’s one of those busy streets where the horns never stop honking. Farida Export Enterprises is tucked into one of the older buildings there. The stairs are narrow and a bit steep, so carrying boxes up and down is quite a workout. Our office has these high ceilings and old wooden floors that creak whenever someone walks across them. It’s got a bit of character, I suppose, even if it’s a bit dusty. We have desks scattered around and a big map pinned to the wall with some coffee stains on it. Most days we are just busy with the logistics of everything. It gets crowded when the whole staff is in at once. We usually go down to the street to get some snacks from the local vendors because there’s no kitchen here. Latouche Road is a great place for being in the mix of things, but it can be exhausting. We spend a lot of time on the landline because the mobile signal isn't great inside the thick walls. We’ve been at 80/86 for a long time and the neighbors are all like family now. It’s just a messy, busy, honest business. We do what we can with what we have and keep the wheels turning.
