Equestrian Trendz

Equestrian Trendz is situated at 6/31C on Parvati Bagla Road, right in the Civil Lines area. This part of town is a bit quieter than the main markets, which is nice when you are trying to get work done. We spend most of our time dealing with leather goods and various things for horses. When you walk in, the first thing you notice is that strong smell of treated leather and polish. It’s a scent that sticks to your clothes even after you go home for the day. The shop isn't massive, but we make use of every inch of wall space for hanging boots, saddles, and bridles. We usually have a radio playing low in the background, mostly just to keep the silence away during the slow afternoon hours. The floor is made of old stone and it stays relatively cool even when the weather outside gets quite hot. We don't really have a team of receptionists or anything. It is usually just one or two of us here handling the stock and answering the phone when it rings. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time finding the exact gate because the numbering on Parvati Bagla Road can be a little confusing for new drivers. We just step out and wave them down when we see them slowing down. It is a steady way to spend the day, surrounded by gear and the quiet hum of the neighborhood.
