Dr A P Maurya Gestro Clinic

We are located down Bankhandeshwar Temple Lane, right in the Prem Nagar area of Kanpur. You can usually hear the bells from the temple throughout the day, which is quite nice actually. The address is 88/529, and it’s a bit of a tight squeeze getting through the lane if there are a lot of people around. The clinic focuses on gastro issues, so we see a lot of people coming in with stomach problems or wanting advice on their diet. It’s a modest setup. We have a small reception area with some old chairs and a TV that’s usually turned to the news. Dr. Maurya is in the back office most of the day. The walls have some charts about the digestive system, and there’s a small sink in the corner for washing up. We get quite busy in the evenings after people get off work. The lighting is a bit yellow, giving the place an older feel, but it’s clean and it works for us. We don’t have a big marketing budget or anything; we just rely on people telling their friends about us. Sometimes the drain in the lane outside gets blocked when it rains heavy, which makes it hard for patients to reach us, but we stay open regardless. It’s just a local clinic doing its thing in a busy part of Kanpur.
