Alif International

We are over at No. 91/100 Dalel Purva, right on Alijapur Road. It is a busy spot with trucks and cars going by all day long. Alif International has been operating from this building for a good while. The space is mostly filled with equipment and supplies, so it is not exactly a showroom. It is a working building. You will usually find us in the back handling the heavy lifting or sorting through paperwork at the old wooden desk near the window. The dust from the road gets in sometimes, so we spend a lot of time cleaning up. It is just part of being in this part of town. We don't have fancy signs or anything. If you are looking for us, you just look for the number on the gate. We keep a small crew, mostly people who have been around for years. We know each other's habits and how the work gets done. There is no big hierarchy here. If something needs fixing, whoever is closest grabs a tool and deals with it. It is practical work. We don't spend time on long meetings or anything like that. We just look at what the day brings and get through it. Sometimes the heat on Alijapur Road is a bit much, but we have a couple of fans that keep the air moving well enough to keep us going until evening. It is just a regular job for us.
