D S Sinha & Co

We are over here at Skylark Complex in Chunni Ganj. It is a busy part of Kanpur and people are always moving around outside. D S Sinha & Co has been around this area for a while now. The office isn't anything fancy, just a place where we get the work done every day. Most mornings start with tea and looking at what needs to be finished from yesterday. You can hear the traffic from the street clearly if the window is open, which it usually is unless it’s too dusty. People come in with their files and we sit down to go through things one by one. It gets a bit crowded in the afternoons when everyone seems to show up at once. There is no big sign or anything, just the name on the door. We don't really spend much time making the place look like a showroom because that isn't why we are here. Most of the desks are covered in folders and notes we have written to ourselves. Sometimes the power goes out and we just wait it out or use the backup if it's working. It is just a normal office routine in a normal part of the city. We know the neighbors and the guy who sells snacks downstairs. It feels like home after you’ve been here long enough to know all the sounds.
