Colour World

We've been here at Panki Site-1 in Dada Nagar for quite a bit now. If you know the area, you know it’s mostly industrial stuff around us. We are right near the Reynolds company, which is how most people find our spot when they’re looking for Colour World. It gets pretty dusty out here during the day with all the trucks moving through the industrial area, but we keep the shop open and just get on with things. Usually, the morning starts with a cup of tea from the stall down the road and then we start looking at what needs to be done. It’s not a fancy place, just a regular shop where we handle paints and different shades for people who come in. Some days it’s very quiet and we just sit and talk, other times it’s a bit of a rush with everyone needing things at once. We’ve seen the neighborhood change over the years, more buildings going up and more traffic on the main road. The heat in the afternoon can be something else, especially with the metal roof, but we’re used to it by now. People around here know us by name, which is nice. We don't really do much advertising or anything like that, mostly just folks stopping by because they saw the sign or heard about us from someone else in the Dada Nagar area. It’s just us doing our work every day and trying to keep things moving along without too much fuss.
