J. S. International India is based out of Civil Lines, at No. 16/80-1. This part of the city is usually a bit more organized than others, which we definitely appreciate. Our office is a simple setup without much fuss. We’ve been operating from this same spot for several years now. Handling international trade and business dealings keeps the phones ringing at odd hours sometimes because of the different time zones. It isn't a massive office with glass walls or modern art. It’s just a comfortable place where we can sit down and get through the paperwork. Most of the day is spent on emails and making sure shipments are moving where they need to go. We have a few old desks and a couple of filing cabinets that have seen better days. Advertising isn't something we spend much money on. Most of our business comes through long-standing contacts and people we’ve known for a long time. Inside, it’s a quiet atmosphere, even if the city outside is getting loud. We take our lunch breaks together most days and talk about things other than work. It helps us stay grounded. Being in Civil Lines means we are close to a lot of other offices and government buildings, which comes in handy. We aren't trying to change the world here. We are just running our business and making sure we stay on top of our daily responsibilities. It’s a straightforward way to work for us and those around us.
