Haris Exports

Haris Exports has been at 16/17 E Civil Lines for quite some time now. Most people around here know where we are because it's a pretty busy part of town. We spend most of our mornings getting things ready for shipping. It's usually a bit of a mess with boxes everywhere, but we manage. The office isn't anything fancy, just some desks and chairs where we handle the paperwork. Sometimes the tea guy stops by and we take a short break outside. It gets hot in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going at full speed. People walk past our doors all day, and we try to stay on top of the orders coming in. It's just a small team of us working here. We don't really do big meetings or anything like that. We just talk across the room when something needs doing. If the phone rings, someone grabs it. It’s a straightforward way of working. Most days are about making sure the counts are right before the trucks arrive. Sometimes the trucks are late, which can be a bit annoying, but that’s just how it goes in this area. We’ve gotten used to the noise from the street. It’s part of the day now. We usually wrap things up by early evening unless there's a big pile of stuff still sitting there. There's always something to do the next morning anyway.
