The 208012 area is a busy part of town, and Gumti No 5 is always crowded with people looking for one thing or another. We’ve been operating out of this small space for quite a while. It’s a very local feel here. We know the names of the kids who come in for a snack and the older folks who have lived in the neighborhood forever. Megha Singh Market has a lot of history, and we are just one small part of it. The shop isn't perfect. The shelves might be a bit uneven and the paint is peeling in a few spots, but it's ours. We spend our days handling deliveries and making sure everything is where it should be. It’s a practical life. We don’t use any complicated systems. We just remember where everything is. The heat in the summer can be tough, but we keep the fan going and stay at it. Being in Gumti No 5 means you are never truly alone because there is always someone passing by. We like the bustle.
