Deepu Travels

Our small shop is at 58/7 Birhana Road, right near the Khatri Dharamshala. It’s a landmark everyone around here knows. Deepu Travels isn't a massive corporate office. It’s just a small shop front where we handle all the bookings. Deepu is the one who usually answers the phone, and he’s been doing this for a long time. We have a few desks and an old map of the region pinned to the wall that’s started to curl at the edges. Most of our work involves arranging cars and drivers for trips. Some people just need a ride to the station, while others are planning a whole week away with their family. It gets very busy during the festival seasons and when weddings are happening. We have a couple of drivers who have been with us for years. They know the shortcuts and the best places to stop for food on the long hauls. The office gets a bit dusty because of the heavy traffic on Birhana Road, so we’re always wiping down the desks. We don't have a fancy website or an app. People just call us or walk in. There’s a tea stall just a few doors down, and we usually have a cup of chai while we sort out the driver schedules. It’s a straightforward business. We just focus on making sure the car shows up when it’s supposed to and that the trip goes okay.
