Bhadauria Pco & Travels

Our shop is Bhadauria Pco & Travels, and you can find us at 119/301, inside the B N Shukla & Sons building in Darshan Purwa. It’s an old part of Kanpur and we’ve been here since the days when people actually used PCOs a lot more than they do now. We kept the name because everyone knows us by it. These days, we mostly focus on the travel side of things, but the office still feels like a little neighborhood hub. It’s a small space, usually quite cluttered with old logs and spare parts for the vehicles. We don’t have any polished management style. We just talk to people, see where they need to go, and try to find a vehicle that’s free. Sometimes the heat in the afternoon makes the office feel really stuffy, but we just turn on the fan and keep working. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in the city. We’re just local people who know the routes to Lucknow or Delhi and everywhere in between. Sometimes we have to deal with grumpy drivers or cars that won't start in the cold, but that's just part of the job. We don’t use any special marketing tricks. People come to us because they’ve seen us here for years. We just try to be honest about what we can do and then we do it. It’s a simple way to run a business.
