You can find Uma Traders over at J-131 in the World Bank colony of Barra. It’s a standard residential-looking area where a lot of small businesses have popped up. We operate out of this space and have been doing so for quite a while. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a place where we keep our records and talk to customers. Barra can get pretty crowded during peak hours, so parking is sometimes a bit of a headache near the World Bank blocks. We spend our days managing stock and talking to suppliers on the phone. It's a lot of manual work and keeping track of things on paper. We don't have a fancy website or a digital system for everything yet. It's just the old-fashioned way of doing business. Sometimes the front door sticks a bit when it rains, and the desk is always covered in notes, but it works for us. We know most of the people who come by regularly. Being in Barra means we are close to a lot of other shops, so there is always some activity nearby. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to get through the orders and make sure the deliveries are right. It’s a simple life at J-131. We keep the kettle going for tea and just keep working through the list of things to do.
