Bala Ji Jeneral Store

We are located at Shop No. 82 - R on V. I. P. Road in the Yashoda Nagar area of Kanpur. If you know where the Kali Pooja Chauraha is, then you’ve probably passed by our shop many times. Kanpur is a city that never really stops, and V.I.P Road is always full of vehicles and people going somewhere. Our shop, Bala Ji Jeneral Store, is where we spend most of our waking hours. We handle all the daily needs for the families living around here. From soap bars to cooking oil, we try to keep it all in stock. The chauraha gets very busy during festival times, especially around the pooja, and we see a lot of new faces then. Otherwise, it’s mostly the same people every day. We don’t have a website or anything like that, just this physical shop where you can come and talk to us. Sometimes the dust from the road gets inside, so we are constantly cleaning the jars and packets. The 208011 area has been our base for a long time. It’s hard work, standing on your feet and dealing with the accounts, but seeing the neighbors every day makes it worth it. We just provide the basic stuff people need and try to keep things honest and straightforward for everyone who walks through the door in this part of Kanpur.
