Ashwamedham Development Foundation

Our office is located at M142 in Yashoda Nagar, right here in Kanpur. We’ve been operating out of this neighborhood for a bit now, focusing on various development projects. It’s a simple setup in a residential part of the city, so it feels more like a community hub than a big organization. We spend a lot of time on the ground, talking to people and trying to see what needs doing. The space is often cluttered with files and notes from our latest meetings. It’s just a handful of us working together. Kanpur is a big, busy city, and Yashoda Nagar has its own rhythm that we’ve become a part of. We don't have a big corporate structure or anything like that. We just take things one day at a time, looking at what the foundation can handle. Sometimes we have volunteers coming in and out, which makes the place feel a bit more lively. The tea stall nearby is where we usually end up for breaks. We aren't doing anything fancy; it’s mostly just practical work aimed at making things a bit better where we can. People in the area know the address and stop by if they have questions. It’s a quiet life in the office but the work itself keeps us on our toes. We just want to keep things going as long as we can in this part of Uttar Pradesh. No big speeches, just the work.
