Apsara General Store

Apsara General Store is situated at 37/8 in the Shivala area, just off Mall Road in Kanpur. Shivala is a well-known neighborhood, and we have been operating here for a good number of years. It is a simple and straightforward general store. We sell various things like soap, toothpaste, notebooks, and basic grocery items. The building is on the older side, and the space inside the shop is quite narrow. We have shelves lining both of the walls from the floor up to the ceiling. It can get a little bit dark towards the back of the store, so we keep a few tube lights on so we can see what is back there. People living in the nearby houses come in for their small daily needs. We do not have a big or fancy setup here. There is just a main counter and we stand behind it to help the customers. Sometimes children come in for candies or a cold drink from the small fridge we keep in the corner. We try our best to stay organized, but with so many small items, things occasionally get misplaced on the shelves. It is just part of the daily job. Mall Road is always noisy with traffic, but it feels a bit quieter once you step inside. We just carry on with our work every day to keep the local residents supplied.
