Alken Chemical & Fragrances

We’re located in Nigam Plaza, which is at 400-B on Subhash Road in Harjinder Nagar. Alken Chemical & Fragrances is the name on the door. It’s a bit of a mix here, dealing with both chemicals and different scents. The office usually has a very specific smell to it, which we’ve all gotten used to over the years. We aren't a massive factory, just an office and storage spot in the plaza. Harjinder Nagar is a lively place to work. There’s always something going on downstairs. We spend our days tracking orders and talking to suppliers. It’s not the kind of work that makes for exciting stories, but it keeps us busy. We don’t go in for big marketing slogans or anything like that. We just do the work and try to be honest about what we can do. The stairs up to the office can be a bit steep, and the building is showing its age a little, but it suits us just fine. We’ve built up a steady routine here on Subhash Road. Most of our customers have been coming to us for years, so we don't need to be flashy. We just focus on the orders and making sure the bottles are labeled correctly. It’s a decent living and we enjoy being part of the community here. If the elevator is broken, we just take the stairs and keep going. That's how things get done at Alken Chemical & Fragrances.
