Aki International (Leder)

We are over here in Jajmau, right at 9/6 in Asharfabad. It gets pretty loud around here with all the leather work going on, but that is just how it is. My name is Aki and we have been at this spot for a while now. The building isn't anything fancy, just a regular place where we get the job done every day. Some days are slower than others. We handle a lot of leather, or leder as some call it, and there is always something to move or stack. The dust from the road comes in through the window if we leave it open too long. Most of the people working here live close by so we all know each other well. We don't really have a big reception desk or anything like that. If you come by, you'll probably just find us in the back checking on the latest batch. It is a lot of hands-on work. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit and we just wait it out or talk. We just focus on getting the pieces ready to go out. There is always leather piled up somewhere. It’s hard work but it keeps us busy. We don’t spend much time on the computer unless we have to. It's more about the actual material and making sure it looks right before it leaves the 9/6 address. We just keep things moving as best as we can.
