Adios Travels Pvt Ltd is based in Civil Lines at 204, Kan Chambers, 14/113. We are very close to the UP Stock Exchange, so the whole area has a bit of a serious, business-like feel to it. Our office is up on the second floor, away from the immediate noise of the street but you can still hear the city moving. We have a few desks set up where we handle all the travel bookings. It’s mostly just a lot of typing and phone calls throughout the day. People in Kanpur know Civil Lines is a good place to get things done, so we get a fair amount of walk-ins. We aren’t a huge corporation, just a small team of people who know their way around a flight schedule. The office has big windows but the view is mostly just other buildings and the busy road below. We spend a lot of time making sure the names and dates on the tickets are correct because mistakes are a headache for everyone. It’s a practical job. We have a small kettle for making tea and we take turns going out to get lunch from the local spots. Working near the stock exchange means things are always moving fast around us, but inside the office, we try to stay focused on the paperwork. It’s just a regular workplace where we do our best to stay organized.
