Abhay General Store

Abhay General Store is situated in Shyam Nagar, Kanpur. You can find us at Lig 655 in E Block, which is right on Sughar Singh Road. We are quite close to the Sughar Singh Academy, so we get a lot of noise and energy from the students and parents every day. It is a nice residential neighborhood and we have been a part of it for quite some time now. The store is just a regular local shop where we keep everything from soap to snacks. We do all the work ourselves, including stacking the shelves and managing the counter. It can get a bit hectic in the afternoons when school lets out and all the kids come in looking for something sweet. The rest of the time, it is mostly the housewives and elderly folks from E Block who stop by to pick up their daily necessities. Kanpur weather is often a bit rough, either very hot or quite cold, but we keep the shop going regardless. We don't have any flashy signs or big promotions. Most people know us by name because we live and work right here in the same area. It is a simple, honest business and we take pride in having what the neighbors need so they don't have to go all the way to the main market. We just open the shutters every morning and see what the day brings. It is a good way to live.
