Wishbook Social Andwelfare Foundation

Wishbook Social Andwelfare Foundation is based on Karrahi Road, right in the Barra area of Kanpur. Our specific spot is 109/9 in Malviya Vihar. It is a busy part of the city with a lot of traffic and people always on the move. We have a small office where we handle all our social and welfare work. It is not anything special to look at, just a few chairs and a table. We started this because we saw a lot of things in our neighborhood that needed some attention. We are not a big organization with lots of money. Most of what we do comes from our own time and effort. Sometimes it is really hard to keep everything organized, and the desk gets buried under folders. We do not mind though, because the work is important to us. People from the surrounding streets often drop by just to chat or ask for some help with paperwork. We try to be useful whenever we can. It is not always easy to balance everything, and some days are definitely longer than others. We do not have a big team, just a few dedicated people who live nearby. We like being part of the local community in Kanpur. It makes the work feel more personal and real when you know the people.
