Vhawk Services Private Limited operates out of a spot in Balwant Nagar, right near the Shriram Colony in the Dhanipur area. It’s one of those parts of town that feels a bit more residential than the main market centers. Our building is easy to find if you know the colony entrance. We don’t have a big flashing sign or anything like that, just a regular entrance where we come in every morning. The space inside is pretty simple. We have our desks set up and enough chairs for everyone who works here. It’s usually quiet enough to think, though you can hear the kids playing or bikes going by on the street outside. We spend a lot of time just looking at screens and talking through whatever tasks are on the table for the day. There’s a small area where we keep the kettle for tea, which gets used quite a bit during the cooler months. Being in Balwant Nagar means we don’t have to deal with the heaviest traffic of the city, which is a nice change. We aren't trying to be some huge international firm with glass walls. We’re just a small team doing our thing here in Dhanipur. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit and talk until the generator or backup kicks in. It’s a very normal, local way of working. Most of us live nearby, so the commute isn't too bad for the folks here.
