If you're looking for Ujjayi India Foundation, you'll find us over at 208 in Jawahar Nagar. The building isn't anything special to look at from the outside, but it suits what we do just fine. Most days start with opening up the shutters and getting the tea going before the first person stops by. We aren't a massive operation with hundreds of employees in suits. It’s just a few of us who care about what’s happening around here. We handle a lot of different tasks, mostly whatever the day throws at us. Sometimes the power goes out or the street gets noisy, but that's just life in Jawahar Nagar. We like being part of this community. People know they can find us at number 208 if they need to chat or have a question about what we're up to. There’s always a lot of activity on our floor, papers moving around and people coming in and out. We don't spend money on big ads or glossy brochures because we’d rather just be here doing the work. It’s a bit messy sometimes, and the files get stacked high, but we know where everything is. We're just a local group trying to be useful from our little corner of the city.
