Kanpur is a big, crowded city and Barra can get quite hectic during the rush hours. Our office is just a regular house, nothing too special to look at from the outside. We have some chairs and a few desks where we manage our daily tasks. Most of the people who come to see us are from the nearby streets. It’s a local community thing. We don't spend money on fancy decorations or expensive signs. We would rather keep things practical. The area around Mohalla Malviya has its own charm, even if the roads are a bit narrow in places. Getting here can be a bit tricky if you aren't familiar with Kanpur Sadar, but once you find Makan No. 3A, you’re there. We keep regular hours, though sometimes we stay late if there is a lot of work to finish. It’s mostly just us trying to make sense of the local needs. We don't use big words to describe what we do. It is just daily effort in a busy city. Sometimes the neighbors bring over tea, and we sit and talk about what’s going on in the block.
