We are located at MIG-152 in Ratanpur Colony, right here in the Panki area of Kanpur. Being an agro trading business means we spend most of our time dealing with heaps of grain and talking to various folks from the nearby farms. The office isn’t much to look at, just a few chairs and a lot of registers stacked on the desk. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when the trucks arrive all at once and block the street. We’ve been operating out of this spot for some time now. Kanpur is a busy place and Panki has its own rhythm with all the industry around. We just try to keep up with the market prices and make sure everything is weighed correctly. It’s dusty work and by the end of the day, we’re usually pretty tired. There is no big corporate structure here, just a small group of us making sure the trading goes as smoothly as it can. We know our neighbors and they know us. Most of the day is spent on the phone or checking the quality of the sacks coming in. It’s a practical life, nothing fancy about it. We don't have a big marketing plan or anything, just the daily grind of buying and selling what the land provides. You’ll find us there most mornings before the sun gets too high, drinking tea and getting started.
