Shubhum Provision Store

Shubhum Provision Store is located right at Ramadevi Chauraha in Kanpur, at Shop No 123. We are very close to the MDM Convent School, so we get a lot of students and parents stopping by. I opened this store to provide basic groceries and household items to the people living around here. The shop stays quite busy during the school hours when kids come in for pens, notebooks, or some snacks. I keep a variety of pulses, spices, and cooking oils for the local kitchens. The Chauraha is a noisy place with a lot of vehicles always moving around. It is a bit dusty because of all the traffic, so I have to clean the jars and packets almost every day. I don't have any big team, it is mostly me and a family member helping out. We know which family likes which brand of tea or rice. It is a small place, so we can't keep everything, but we try to have the most important things in stock. Sometimes the rains cause a bit of a puddle right in front of the shop, which makes it hard for people to enter. I just put some bricks down so they can step over. It is not a perfect store, but it serves the purpose for everyone in this part of Kanpur. I spend my evenings tallying the books and making sure I have enough change for the next day.
