We’ve been working out of our office at 38/24 in Shiwala for quite some time now. Shree Rasheswari Contractor & Developers isn't some giant corporation with hundreds of employees. We are just a local team of builders and developers trying to make a living in Kanpur. The streets around 208001 are usually pretty crowded, so getting materials delivered can be a real headache sometimes. Most days you’ll find us out on a construction site rather than sitting behind a desk. We deal with all sorts of building work, from small renovations to bigger structures. It’s dusty and tiring work, and things don’t always go exactly as planned. Sometimes the weather in Uttar Pradesh just won't cooperate, or a shipment of bricks shows up late. That’s just the way it is in this business. We started this because we wanted to do things our own way, without all the corporate red tape. The office is pretty simple, just some chairs and a lot of maps and drawings scattered around. We know most of the people in the neighborhood by now. We don't spend money on fancy ads or big signs. If we do a good job, people tell their friends, and that's how we stay busy. We’re just regular folks who know how to put a building together properly. It isn't always pretty, but it’s honest work that we’ve been doing for years.
