Roy & Associates

Roy & Associates is situated at A/35 in Shanti Nagar, which is part of the Cantt area in Kanpur. We are quite close to the Ganga Deen Gauri Shankar Inter College. It is a fairly quiet neighborhood, which is good for the kind of work we do. Our office is a simple setup with a couple of rooms and a lot of filing cabinets. We deal with a lot of paperwork and drawings, so the space usually looks a bit cluttered. There is a small garden out front that we try to keep tidy, but the Kanpur dust usually wins. We have been here for a good number of years now. Most of our clients are people who live nearby or have some connection to the college area. It is not a place with glass walls or modern art. Instead, we have old wooden chairs and calendars on the walls. The atmosphere is very relaxed. We usually have the radio playing softly in the background while we work through the files. Sometimes we get distracted by the students passing by after school hours. It is a very local way of doing things. We don't have a receptionist; one of us just gets up to answer the door when someone knocks. Shanti Nagar has a nice pace to it, and we are glad to be a part of this community. We just focus on getting our work done without any extra fuss.
