Ramaya Keshav Hospital Foundation

Ramaya Keshav Hospital Foundation is right here in Kanpur Nagar. If you look for house number four in Ram Puram, that’s where you will find us. The address is a bit long on paper, mentioning A-897 and Dahelisujanpur, but locals know the spot. It is a brick building that gets a lot of sun in the afternoons. We have been working out of this space for a while now. Most days are pretty busy with people coming in from the surrounding streets. There is always someone sitting on the bench outside waiting for their turn. The floors inside are swept every morning, but dust from the road always finds its way in. We have a few rooms for patients and a small area where we keep the records. It’s not a huge place, but it gets the job done. Sometimes the fan in the corner makes a clicking sound that we’ve just gotten used to. The staff here mostly lives nearby, so we walk or take a cycle to work. We don't have any fancy signs or neon lights, just a simple board so people know they are at the right place. Life moves fast in Kanpur, but inside the foundation, things feel a bit more steady. We spend our time checking on folks and making sure the supplies are stocked up. It is honest work and we are just glad to be part of the Ram Puram neighborhood.
