Rama Hospital & Research Center

Our hospital is situated in Lakhanpur, right near Kanpur University. You can’t really miss the building if you’re in the area. We’ve been here for years, and because of the university nearby, we see a lot of students as well as local families. It’s a large facility, so there’s always a lot of walking involved to get from one department to another. We have a research side too, which means there are often students and researchers moving around the hallways with notebooks. It’s a busy environment. Some of the wings are older than others, and you can tell by the way the floors look. We keep things tidy, but it's a working hospital, not a hotel. The labs stay busy late into the night. We have a lot of different departments under one roof, so it takes a lot of people to keep the lights on and the patients cared for. Sometimes the parking lot gets really full and people have to find spots further down the road. It’s just part of being in this part of Kanpur. We don't go in for big advertisements or flashy signs. Most people find out about us through word of mouth or because they live nearby. We just focus on getting through the daily list of appointments and making sure the people in the wards are being looked after.
