Raghushree Realestate Private Limited is based out of D-19 in the Panki Industrial Area of Kanpur. If you know Kanpur, you know Panki is a place that never really sleeps. There is always the sound of trucks and machinery in the background. Our office is right in the middle of all that activity. It can get pretty dusty because of the industrial surroundings, so we are always wiping down the desks and chairs. We have a small space here where we track all our real estate listings and meet with people who are interested in the area. It is a very practical office with metal cabinets and a few old chairs that have seen better days. We don't spend much on making it look pretty because we are usually out at different sites anyway. Most of the time, the air is thick with the smell of the nearby factories, but you get used to it after a few weeks. We keep a big water cooler in the corner because it gets incredibly dry and warm during the afternoons. Working in an industrial zone means we deal with a lot of practical people who just want straight answers. We try to keep our files organized, though the stack of paper usually grows faster than we can file it. It's a busy life, but being in Panki keeps us close to the heart of the city's growth and we wouldn't want to be anywhere else despite the noise and all the heat.
