If you look for Qazi Overseas Private Limited, you will find us at Flat No. 106 in the Empire Estate building in Kanpur. It is a bit of a different setup because we are located in a residential style building rather than a big industrial shed. Our office is a single flat where we have set up our desks and computers. It gets a bit cramped when everyone is in at the same time, but we don't mind the close quarters. Most of what we do involves a lot of talking on the phone and typing out emails to people in different time zones. It is a bit strange to be sitting in a quiet estate in Kanpur while dealing with things that are happening so far away. We keep a small kitchen area where we make our own coffee and lunch, which saves us a lot of time. The walls are mostly covered with calendars and notes that we’ve scribbled to remind ourselves of deadlines. We don't have a fancy dress code here, so you’ll usually find us in simple clothes just trying to stay comfortable during the long afternoons. Sometimes the lift in the building breaks down, and we have to walk up the stairs, which is always a good way to wake up in the morning. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to do our work properly and keep our heads above water in this competitive world.
