The street can get pretty crowded with bikes and people going about their business, especially in the afternoons. Our space is tucked into the neighborhood, and it looks like most of the other buildings around here. Inside, it is mostly just desks, chairs, and a lot of paper. We aren't big on decorations, so it’s pretty plain, but it works for what we need to do. Kanpur can be a bit chaotic, but once you step inside, it is a bit more focused. We deal with people from across Gopal Nagar and the surrounding blocks. There is always someone coming in to check on something or just to say hello. We don't have a big corporate lobby or anything like that. It’s just a front room where we do the work. The fans are usually humming to keep the Kanpur heat at bay. We keep our files organized as best we can, though the stacks do get high sometimes. It is a practical place for a practical job. We’ve been part of this Yashoda Nagar community for some time now, and it feels like home. Nothing fancy, just us working away at 575 Gopal Nagar every day and trying to keep everything in order.
