We do contracting work, which means a lot of different things depending on the day. Sometimes we are fixing up old structures, other times we are starting something new from the ground up. It is dirty work and it is loud. We don’t wear fancy clothes to the office because we’re usually headed to a site anyway. Kanpur is a city that respects hard work, and that’s what we offer. We don’t have a marketing team or anyone to write pretty stories about us. We just show up at the site and get to it. We’ve had some tough projects where things didn't go as fast as we wanted. You learn from those and you keep going. We are a partnership, an LLP, so we all share the load. It’s better that way. Our office in Gadriya Mohal is where we handle the paperwork, but our heart is out where the cement is being poured. We don't make big promises we can't keep. We just do the job we were hired for and move on to the next one. It’s a simple way to run a business, and it works for us. We're just Kanpur people doing our bit.
