New S.G.C Institutes Kalyanpur is located right on Old Shivli Road in Kanpur. If you know the area, we are quite close to the tempo stand, which makes it easy for people to find us. We’ve been here for a while now, just doing our thing. The building isn't anything special, but it serves its purpose for the students who come through our doors. It’s usually busy in the afternoons when the schools let out and everyone heads over here. We deal with all sorts of subjects and different age groups. It gets a bit cramped sometimes when a big group shows up all at once, but we manage. The fans hum in the background and there is always a lot of chatter before the sessions actually start. We aren't interested in being some big brand name. We’re just a local institute in Kalyanpur trying to help out. Most of the people who come here live nearby or take the tempo from the stop just down the road. It’s a practical setup. We spend our days grading papers and explaining the same concepts over and over until the students finally get that look on their faces where you know they understand. It’s a lot of hard work for everyone involved, but it’s what we do. No big bells or whistles here, just desks and chairs and books. It feels like home to us after all this time.
