People around Kanpur probably know where Barra-2 is. We are located at Plot no 183 Z-1, and that is where most of the work happens every day. Manish Uniforms Private Limited isn't a huge corporate office or anything like that. It is just a place where we get together and handle the uniform orders that come in. Some days are louder than others because of the machines, but we are used to it by now. Being in Kanpur means there is always something going on nearby. We spend a lot of time checking fabrics and making sure the stitching is okay before anything leaves the door. It gets a bit dusty in this part of town, but we keep the workspace as clean as we can. Most of the staff has been here for a good bit, so we know each other's habits. We don't really do fancy meetings or big presentations. If someone needs to talk about a design, we just walk over to their desk or the cutting table. It's a straightforward way to work. Uttar Pradesh has a lot of businesses like ours, but we just focus on what is right in front of us at our plot. We usually start early in the morning when it is a bit cooler. By the time the afternoon heat hits, we are usually deep into the production schedule. That is pretty much how life goes for us here in the 208027 area.
