Strange Apparel World

Strange Apparel World is tucked away in O Block of Kidwai Nagar. The address is 541 B/7. It’s a residential neighborhood, so it feels very local and quiet. We have converted part of the space into a shop for clothes. Kidwai Nagar is a nice place with lots of families. We get a lot of people walking by while they are out for their evening stroll. We sell all kinds of garments, some everyday wear and some things that are a bit different. That’s probably why we have the name we do. The shop is small and filled with racks. Sometimes it’s hard to move around when we get a new shipment in from the suppliers. We don't have those big glass windows like the malls. It’s just a regular door with a small sign hanging out front. We spend our days folding clothes and talking to the ladies from the block. It’s a friendly atmosphere. We don't try to push people to buy things they don't need. They know what they like. My sister helps me with the stitching sometimes if something needs a quick fix. We have a small sewing machine in the back corner. The lighting isn't the best, but we make do. It’s a quiet business. We open up in the morning after the household chores are done. It’s a good way to stay connected to the neighborhood. We close up around eight when the streets get quiet. We just like having our own little spot here in the block. It’s peaceful enough.
