Kanchan General Store

We've been here on Pac Road in Sehdullah Pur for quite a while now. Kanchan General Store is just a small place, really. We stock the usual things people need every day. Flour, pulses, soaps, some snacks for the kids when they get out of school. It gets a bit crowded in the evenings when everyone is coming home from work. My family helps out behind the counter. Sometimes we don't have exactly what you want on the shelf, but we try to get it in by the next week if you ask. The shop is right here in New P A C Lines, Kanpur. It’s not a fancy supermarket. We just keep the shelves full and the floor swept. Sometimes the delivery guy is late with the milk, so we have to wait around. That’s just how it goes. People around here know us by name. We see the same faces every morning. It's nice to chat while we weigh out the rice. The traffic on Pac Road can be a mess, but we're right here. We don't have a website or anything like that. Just the physical shop. If you need something for the kitchen or just a quick pack of biscuits, you can stop by. We stay open until late evening, usually until the last few customers finish their rounds. It is a simple life running a store like this.
