Jeetendra General Store

You can find Jeetendra General Store at House No 298, right on the Main Road in Transport Nagar. Being near the bus stand means there is never a quiet moment around here. There is always the sound of engines idling or people running to catch their ride. We have been running this store from this house for a good number of years now. It is a simple setup with shelves lining the walls and a heavy wooden counter. We sell all sorts of small items that people realize they forgot to buy elsewhere. Snacks, pens, some basic medicines, and household soap are what we usually have in stock. The dust from the Main Road settles on everything, so we spend a lot of time wiping down the jars and the glass cases. It is just a regular family-run place. We don't have a website or any fancy computers. We write everything down in a notebook when we need to keep track of things. My nephew helps out in the afternoons when the school lets out. The light in the back of the store is a bit dim, but we know where everything is even in the dark. It is a busy life being this close to the transport hub, but it keeps us on our toes and the days go by pretty fast. We just stay open until the last bus leaves at night. (250 words)
