Anand Nagar in Kanpur is a busy place, and our office is tucked away in Y Block at house number 128/749. Finding the right block can be a bit tricky if you are not from around here because the numbers do not always follow a straight line. Our space is just a regular building where we handle media work every day. Kanpur is known for its heat and its crowds, but once we are inside and the fans are on, it is a decent place to get things done. We have a few desks and chairs, and there is always a stack of papers or some hard drives lying around. The street outside stays pretty active with neighbors going about their business and delivery bikes zooming past. We are not a giant corporation with hundreds of staff; it is just a small team working together in this part of the city. Usually, the day starts with clearing off the dust that seems to get everywhere in Kanpur. Then we sit down and get into the media files. It is honest work, and we like being located in a residential block like Anand Nagar because it feels more like a community than a cold office park. We have our routine down, from the morning tea break to the late afternoon rush. It is a simple setup, but it works for us.
