Gmbb Securities Private Limited is located at H.No. B-15 in the World Bankbarra area. It’s a residential neighborhood, so it feels more like a home than a stiff office building. We like it that way because it’s quieter and easier to focus on the numbers. The building itself is a solid brick house, and we’ve taken over part of it for our securities work. There is a small gate at the front that squeaks a little when you open it. Inside, we’ve got desks pushed up against the walls and plenty of power strips for all our monitors. It’s a bit of a maze of cables under the tables, but we know where everything goes. Working in World Bankbarra means we are close to where a lot of people live, so we see our neighbors walking their dogs or heading to the market. We don’t really do big meetings or fancy presentations here. It’s more about sitting down and getting through the pile of documents on the desk. The light in the afternoon is actually quite nice, coming through the side window and hitting the stacks of paper. We usually keep a kettle going for tea throughout the day to keep us sharp. It’s a simple setup for a securities firm, but it suits our style perfectly. We don’t need much else besides a good connection and a quiet place to think and work on our files.
