You can find Dsmass Welfare Foundation over in the Panki area of Kanpur. We are at Mig-114 in B-Block. Kanpur is a busy place, and there’s always something going on that needs a bit of attention. We decided to start this foundation because we wanted to do more than just talk about problems. Being in B-Block, we see everything that happens on the streets every day. Our focus is just general welfare, which covers a lot of ground. We might be helping someone find work one day or helping a family get back on their feet the next. It’s a lot of running around, to be honest. Our office isn’t anything special, just a regular spot in the 208020 zip code. We don't have a team of experts, just regular people from the neighborhood who care about Kanpur. We've had some setbacks, and some days it feels like we aren't getting anywhere, but then someone smiles or says thanks, and it feels worth it. It’s practical work. We don’t do big speeches. We just show up and do what we can with what we have. If you’re near Panki, you’ve probably seen us around. We’re just trying to make things a little easier for everyone around here, one step at a time. It’s simple, really. We are just local folks trying to be useful to the people living nearby.
