Our place is situated in the Panki Industrial Area at D-6. If you know Kanpur, you know that Panki is mostly about factories and large trucks moving around all day long. It can get pretty dusty and noisy around here but that is just part of being in an industrial zone. We are DEHAT DEVELOPERS PRIVATE LIMITED and we spend most of our time looking at land and figuring out how to build things properly. The office is not very stylish, it is just a functional room with some chairs and a big table for our drawings. We have been working out of this spot for some time and we like being close to where the actual work happens. Most of the guys are out in the field during the morning and then we all meet back here to sort out the logistics. There is always a lot of movement in Panki, and we are right in the middle of it. Sometimes the power goes out or the roads get blocked by a trailer, but we just work around it. We are not a giant corporation with hundreds of people, just a local group trying to do decent work in the development sector. We keep things pretty straightforward and do not like wasting time on long meetings that do not lead anywhere. It is just about getting the job done day by day without any unnecessary fuss or complicated talk.
