We are based at 1/5D-19 in the Upper Durga Colony in Fatehgarh, which is part of the Farrukhabad district in U.P. Vivek Kumar Singh is the one who runs things here for Club Mahindra. It’s a very local operation. The office is actually part of a residential building, so it’s got a very homey feel to it. You won't find any glass partitions or shiny elevators here. Instead, we have a simple room with some chairs and a table where we talk to people about their vacation plans. The colony is usually pretty quiet, except for when the vegetable sellers come through with their carts. We’ve been in this part of Fatehgarh for a while and most people in the neighborhood know where to find us. Farrukhabad can get quite dusty, so we spend a lot of time wiping down the furniture. It’s a slow-paced environment, which is nice because we can actually take the time to talk to everyone who walks in. We often sit and have tea while looking over the membership details. Sometimes the power cuts out and we have to sit in the dark for a bit, but we just use that time to chat. We don't have any big corporate banners hanging up. It’s just a small, practical space where we help families figure out their next trip. The stairs up to the office are a bit steep, but nobody seems to mind. It’s just how things are in this part of town.
