If you head down to D.P.S. Market and look for Shop No.7, you’ll find us. Chigaa isn't a huge place, it’s actually kind of cramped when we get a shipment in. We’ve got shelves stacked high and sometimes it’s hard to find a place to sit down. I’ve been working here for a bit, and it’s mostly about talking to the people who walk in off the street. Some are regulars who just want to chat, and others are looking for something specific they can't find anywhere else in the market. We don’t have a fancy website or a marketing team. It’s just us opening the shutters in the morning and sweeping the front step. The market gets really crowded on weekends, and sometimes the noise is a bit much, but it’s a good kind of busy. We try to keep things organized, but let's be real, it’s a small shop and things get moved around. We just want to sell good stuff that people actually need. We don't do big speeches or promises. If you need something, you come in, we find it, and that’s that. It’s a simple life. Sometimes we stay late to count the stock or fix a light fixture, but it’s worth it to see the shop full. It feels like we’re part of the neighborhood here at D.P.S. Market.
