Banaras Dairy Foods Private Limited is located at 60/45 in Nayaganj. This area is always crowded, and the streets are quite narrow, so getting the milk cans in and out is always a bit of a struggle. We have been working from this spot for quite some time now. The building is quite old and has high ceilings which helps keep it cool when the weather gets hot. Most of our day is spent handling the dairy products and making sure everything stays cold. We don't have a lot of fancy technology, just the basic cooling tanks and some packing equipment. The noise from the market outside is constant, with people shouting and bells ringing all day long. We have a small staff and we all pretty much do everything, from cleaning to accounting. Sometimes the floor gets slippery from the water we use to wash down the equipment, so we have to be careful. Nayaganj is a historic part of the city, and we like being in the middle of all that activity. We aren't doing any big promotions or anything. We just focus on getting the dairy out to the local vendors every morning before the sun is too high. It’s a tough job with early hours, but we have gotten used to the rhythm of it. Some days are better than others, especially when the traffic isn't too blocked up in the lanes.
